Our Story

Founded on the Principle That Every Family Deserves a Plan

Tuah Partners was established by practitioners who observed, repeatedly, the difficulties that arise when a family's affairs are left without clear legal structure. Estate disputes, frozen assets, and protracted probate proceedings — each of these situations carries a human cost that thoughtful planning can prevent.

Our firm takes its name from a spirit of loyalty and steadfast counsel — qualities we believe define the relationship between a solicitor and the families who place their confidence in us. We operate from our office in Menara Tan & Tan, serving clients across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and the broader peninsula.

Our approach is deliberate. We take time to understand each client's family circumstances, asset profile, and long-term intentions before offering any recommendation. The result is documentation that genuinely reflects your wishes and stands up to scrutiny.

Our Mission

To ensure that every Malaysian family — regardless of the complexity of their estate — has access to clear, well-considered legal planning that protects their legacy and spares their loved ones unnecessary difficulty.

We handle every matter with the confidentiality it requires.

  • Clarity

Expertise in Malaysian Succession Law

Solicitors Who Understand the Full Picture

The interplay between Malaysian statutory law, religious law for Muslim estates, and testamentary documents requires careful navigation. A Will that fails to account for mandatory provisions — such as EPF nominations or joint property arrangements — may produce outcomes the testator never intended. Our solicitors are trained to identify these intersections and address them clearly in the documentation we prepare.

For families with assets spread across different asset classes — property, business interests, listed securities, foreign accounts — a co-ordinated plan is essential. We work methodically through the asset inventory and consider how each category of property will devolve, ensuring that the overall plan is coherent and the administration process is as straightforward as possible for those left behind.

The Trustee Act 1949, the Wills Act 1959, the Distribution Act 1958, and the Probate and Administration Act 1959 form the legislative backbone of our practice. We apply these instruments with precision, and we explain their implications in language that clients can engage with directly.
