What Our Clients Say
"After my father's passing, we were overwhelmed by the number of accounts and properties involved. The team at Tuah Partners walked us through the entire probate process without ever making us feel rushed. They handled everything with the courts and the bank — we barely had to follow up. Genuinely relieved we chose them."

"I had put off writing a Will for years — always something more urgent. My first meeting with Razif changed that. He asked the right questions and pointed out things I hadn't considered, like what would happen to my children if my wife and I were both gone. The Will was done within three weeks. Straightforward and no unnecessary pressure."

"We came to Tuah Partners wanting to set up an education trust for our two children. Yan Ning took time to explain the difference between a testamentary and a living trust, and helped us decide which suited our situation. The process was more involved than I expected, but the final document was exactly what we needed. The fee was fair for what was delivered."
Sundaram Rajasegaran

"I'm based in London but hold property in Selangor. Tuah Partners handled my Will via video call, which made things considerably easier. They flagged issues I wouldn't have known to ask about — particularly around how my UK-based bank accounts would interact with the Malaysian probate process. Very thorough."

Will Drafting — Jan 2026
"My siblings and I were concerned about a sibling dispute over our mother's estate. Priya at Tuah Partners handled the situation with care — she explained the legal position clearly, filed the necessary caveats, and helped us reach a resolution without the matter going to a full hearing. That outcome saved all of us considerably more than the legal fees."
Cheong Wai Lin
Cheras, Kuala Lumpur
Estate Administration — Dec 2025
"We engaged Tuah Partners to establish a charitable trust after my late husband expressed a wish to support education in his home state. The team helped us understand the regulatory requirements and worked with a licensed trust company to set the structure up properly. It took longer than we hoped, but the outcome was solid."

Three matters that illustrate how we approach different estate planning situations. Names and identifying details have been changed.
The Challenge
A Multi-Asset Estate with Unclear Nominations
A retired professional in his late sixties held property, unit trusts, an EPF account, and three life policies — each with different nominated beneficiaries made at different points in his life. His family needed clarity before it was too late to make changes.
The Approach
Co-ordinated Review of All Instruments
We mapped every asset against its current legal disposition — Will (none existed), EPF nomination, insurance nominations, and joint tenancy arrangements. We then drafted a Will that addressed the assets not covered by nominations and recommended specific nomination updates.
The Outcome
A Coherent Plan, Properly Documented
The client executed a new Will within six weeks and updated three insurance nominations. For the first time, he had a clear, consistent picture of how his estate would be distributed. His family has peace of mind that the documentation reflects his actual wishes.
"For the first time in years, I feel like my affairs are actually in order. It was an eye-opening process."
The Challenge
Protecting an Asset for a Child with Special Needs
Parents of an adult child with a cognitive impairment were concerned about what would happen to their son if both parents passed. A direct inheritance would disqualify him from certain welfare support and could not be managed by him independently.
The Approach
Special Needs Trust with Careful Trustee Selection
We drafted a testamentary trust within the parents' Wills, with a licensed trust company appointed as professional trustee and a sibling as co-trustee. Distribution triggers were written to cover daily living expenses, medical costs, and quality of life expenditures — not a lump sum.
The Outcome
Long-Term Protection Within a Legal Framework
Both parents executed their Wills within eight weeks. The trust structure ensures their son's needs will be met from the estate without compromising his eligibility for support services, and without placing an undue burden on the sibling trustee.
"We came in not knowing what was possible. We left with a plan that genuinely takes care of him — and that takes the weight off our shoulders."
The Challenge
A Contested Estate with Multiple Claimants
A deceased individual had left no Will. Two adult children from a first marriage and a surviving spouse from a second marriage each claimed a share of the estate — which included a shophouse, a savings account, and a unit trust portfolio.
The Approach
Letters of Administration with Protective Caveats
We advised the client on their legal entitlement under the Distribution Act 1958, filed for Letters of Administration on their behalf, and lodged protective caveats while negotiations with the other claimants proceeded. We facilitated a mediated settlement without a contested hearing.
The Outcome
Resolution Without Full Litigation
All parties reached a written settlement within five months. Assets were distributed by agreement rather than court order, which preserved the relationships among the parties to the extent that was possible given the circumstances. Court costs were avoided.
